Verto: One Year On – A Business Transformed

Written by Laura Watts, Marketing Manager | Sep 24, 2025 10:00:00 PM

Almost one year after securing significant investment and appointing Simon Sharp as CEO, Verto has undergone a remarkable transformation, emerging with renewed leadership, greater capabilities, and a bold vision to become the standard choice and remain the UK public sector’s leading P3M platform.

The journey of change so far.

Since October 2024, Verto has evolved from a steadily growing company into a dynamic, future-focused organisation. The injection of investment has fuelled both strategic hires and product innovation, while Simon Sharp’s leadership has energised the team and sharpened the company’s mission.

The investment has accelerated Verto’s growth trajectory, enabling us to expand our team, fast-track product innovation, and strengthen our customer experience. Over the past year, this has translated into a more agile, capable organisation, delivering new features faster, deepening our public sector expertise, and ensuring we can meet the evolving needs of our clients with confidence.

Specifically, we have been able to focus on the following ventures:

  • Enabled accelerated development of Verto’s platform, with a focus on customer-led features and emerging AI technology development.
  • Supported the recruitment of experienced talent predominantly within the sales, marketing and development teams.
  • Increased investment in client experience and client marketing initiatives, ensuring faster delivery and greater responsiveness to client needs.

Over the past year, Verto has segmented its client-facing teams to deliver a more focused service to our clients depending on what stage of implementation they are at, which has significantly enhanced its delivery capability. This change has been driven by a clear ambition to position Verto as the go-to, or standard, solution for public sector PPM. Alongside this, the company has introduced advanced new features, such as the vast updates delivered on June 30th*, which have strengthened its alignment with government standards such as GovS002, and began the early rollout of AI capabilities** to further extend the value and flexibility it offers to clients.

The past year has been transformative, not just for Verto as a business, but for the value we deliver to our clients within times of such significant change. With the investment from ScaleUp, our talent, and a clear vision, we’re building the trusted standard for programme management in the UK public sector. The next chapter will be about scaling that success while staying true to our values of flexibility, security, and client-first thinking.
