London, 25th September – Verto, the market leading P3M (project, programme and portfolio) platform for the Public Sector, unveiled its latest advances in agentic AI at DigiGov 2025. In a keynote delivered by Verto’s Chief Product Officer, Ross Mardell, the company introduced new capabilities within Verto Intelligence, its AI-powered automation suite, designed to help government organisations achieve more with fewer resources, faster.

“It was an honour to showcase the work our team has been doing to build responsible, high-impact agentic AI for the public sector,” said Ross Mardell, Chief Product Officer at Verto. “We had inspiring conversations with leaders already exploring how to apply Verto Intelligence in their transformation strategies, and it was energising to speak with so many new prospects who are just beginning that journey. The excitement and ambition in the room were unmistakable.”

At DigiGov, Verto announced their Verto Intelligence Suite:

  1. Verto Intelligence CoPilot Agent – For users of MS Co-Pilot this provides the ability to query Verto project data.
  2. Verto Intelligence Help – Based on Verto’s extensive knowledge base, this AI assistant answers questions and provides you with step-by-step instructions on how to, for example, add a risk.
  3. Verto Intelligence Risk Assisted Import – For many new clients, as we are onboarding them, they already have risk data in a variety of documents, formats and templates. This tool enables you to take differently formatted data and import it into Verto, mapping risk fields to excel columns, suggesting the dropdown values in a risk that align to the spreadsheet and performing 80% of the heavy lifting required when mapping disparate input sources.
  4. Verto Intelligence Data Insights – Status fields in a project will now have the Verto Intelligence icon, pressing this icon will instruct Verto Intelligence to analyse the information and give you it’s considered opinion on what the status should be. Verto Intelligence will provide a narrative on the reasoning around the suggested status change, which users can then accept and add both the status and the narrative to the project instantly.
  5. Verto Intelligence Partners (VIPs) – We have developed AI agents, called VIPs, who have been designed to be experts in finance, risk, project admin and IT. VIPs give you access to a core team of agents who will advise you on the project, where it is, what needs to happen next, and helps you action various steps within the platform. Accessing this team of experts provides excellent training opportunities for new or ‘accidental’ project managers and helps reduce time spent on administrative tasks. The partner’s advice also helps point you in the right direction for the next most important action to take.

During the session, Verto demonstrated how its agentic AI VIPs – capable of taking action, not just generating insights – are helping public sector teams automate repetitive tasks, orchestrate programmes, and drive faster, data-led decision-making. Verto Intelligence integrates directly with existing systems to surface insights, trigger workflows, and complete administrative tasks across complex delivery landscapes, without additional technical overhead.

To share these insights more broadly, Verto will host a live webinar where they will cover real-world agentic AI use cases, demo the Verto Intelligence platform, and explore how public sector teams can unlock immediate ROI from automation. Registration details will be announced shortly on Verto’s website and social channels.

“Our goal is to make AI useful, safe, and actionable for every public sector team, not just a future concept, but a working reality,” Ross Mardell added. “I’m incredibly proud of the team behind Verto Intelligence. This milestone wouldn’t be possible without their dedication and vision.”
